Location
With so many options in the area, choosing the perfect location for your family's session can seem overwhelming! I work closely with each my clients to help them choose the best location for them. We'll start with how you plan to display your images in your home and from there we'll narrow it down to some great spots!
Wardrobe Styling
One of the most common questions I receive when helping a family plan their session is "what should we wear?" I am more than happy to offer you some suggestions to help you plan your most stylish session yet!
The Session
My number one goal is to make your session as relaxed and fun as possible! My portrait sessions are a mix of traditional portraiture and candid moments. And don't worry about fussy kiddos! Being a mom, and having had our pictures taken, I have been in your shoes! We'll take breaks when we need to, and I am totally ok with being as silly as possible and work for those smiles!
Delivery
After the editing process is finished, I upload your images in to an online gallery. You'll receive an email with instructions on how to download, print, and share your images with family and friends. There is no limit on the number of times your images can be downloaded, and you do have the option to use your preferred printing method. USB Flash Drives may be purchased separately if your prefer that method of receiving your images.
Keepsakes
Preserving and displaying your images is so important! I am happy to offer a number of ways for you to do this. Whether it's a gorgeous fine art canvas, a custom designed photo book, or a beautiful metal or acrylic print, there are so many options for you to choose from! I am happy to consult with you and help determine the best way for you to showcase your portraits.

It's easy to put off family portraits. Especially when life is busy! But before you know it those tiny fingers and toes are all grown up. No matter if this is your first family session, or if it's been a while since you had portraits taken, documenting this moment in time is so important. Three Easy Steps to Effortless Style
Pick a Base Color
Step one is to choose a base color. When choosing a color, think about how you will display the images in your home. What are the colors in your home? Think of colors that reflect your home's decor. Blue's and greens photograph well and compliment almost every skin tone!
Choose One Pattern
For variety, have one person wear a stripe or plaid. Try to avoid patterns that are smaller than a dime. They tend to photograph weird.
Add a Pop of Color
Here's the fun part! Adding a pop of color brings so much to your portraits. And there are many ways to do this. You can have one person wear a bright color. Accessories are also a great way to add pop! You can do this with a beautiful statement necklace or a scarf.
FIND INSPIRATION
HOW DO WE BOOK?
I do all of my booking online. Once we have chatted and settled on a date for your session, I will send you a link to book. You'll choose the type of session that fits your needs, sign your contract, and pay a 50% deposit. If you are booking a session within 10 days of your desired date, you will be asked to pay the full amount.
Do you allow pets?
Absolutely!! Pets are always welcome as long as they are allowed at the location we will shooting. Please check for any guidelines or restrictions before bringing your pet. And don't forget the treats!!
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
If it rains, it rains. I do not charge a fee to reschedule. When we begin planning your session and looking at dates, we will also discuss a backup date in the event the weather does not cooperate, or any unforeseen situation arises and we need to reschedule
